Embodied Recovery, located in Silicon Valley, offers a powerful and holistic teaching series for mental health and addiction recovery. Our integrative, body-based approach combines mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed care to support deep healing.
Join us on the path of transforming suffering into Empowered Living—through practices that restore connection, build resilience, and awaken lasting change.
What separates a peaceful mind from a struggling one? It is rarely circumstances, but rather the attitudes, judgments, and perceptions we practice. In this week's teaching, Michael and Greg explore decision-making through psychological, emotional, and spiritual lenses, examining the difference between choices driven by old, less-than-healthy strategies for getting our needs met and choices rooted in the principles and practices of recovery.
Together with participants, they sit with some honest questions: Do we have any real capacity to influence the attitude we carry into the day? Why do some people live in an abiding state of gratitude while others remain stuck in cycles of depression, anxiety, and frustration? The answer they explore is both simple and demanding; it comes down to the practices we commit to, and the place within the mind from which our decisions are made.
This episode is an invitation to consider the choices in front of you today, and to ask: what would it look like to engage this day differently than the choices that have led to greater difficulty?

Body of Bliss
Episode 11 from our Empowered Living Teaching Series entitled, "Body of Bliss". Join us as we explore the human drive to seek bliss and the deeper forces that shape how and why we pursue it. In this teaching, Body of Bliss, we examine how the desire for pleasurable experiences can either support genuine connection to self and others or become a reactive escape from discomfort and challenge. Learn how developing a stable foundation of awareness and responsibility creates the conditions for lasting joy, rather than relying on external people, places, or things to “make us” feel better.
