Top 5 Things We Say on Repeat to our Patients

If you've ever been told your labs are "normal" while you still feel completely off, this episode is for you. After years of clinical work, there are a handful of truths we find ourselves returning to again and again — the ones that reframe how our patients understand their own bodies. So we're sharing the five we say most.

In this episode, we unpack why your hormones aren't the problem, they're the messenger — and what they're actually trying to tell you. We get into why "normal" labs don't always mean you're fine, and how the ranges you're being measured against may be missing the bigger picture. We challenge the eat-less mindset and explain why eating more strategically — not less — is often the real key. We reframe stress as a physical event your body registers, not just a feeling to push through. And we talk about how your symptoms follow a pattern — one you were simply never taught to read.

This is terrain-first medicine in action: meeting your body where it actually is, and learning to listen before you try to fix. Because when you understand the why behind your symptoms, everything changes.
