Wozu Demokratie? Ein Festival gibt Antworten. Episode 22 mit Johanna und Markus
Demokratie – für viele ein abstrakter Begriff, für Johanna Sinn und Markus Muckenschnabl jedoch eine lebendige Aufgabe. Die beiden gehören zum ehrenamtlichen Organisationsteam der Wochen zur Demokratie, einem Demokratie-Festival in Stadt und Landkreis Passau. Seit 2019 organisiert die Initiative jedes Jahr im Herbst zwei bis vier Wochen voller Veranstaltungen rund um demokratisches Zusammenleben. 2025 finden zwischen 17. Oktober und 26. November insgesamt 26 Veranstaltungen statt.

Eine Werkstatt voller Möglichkeiten. Episode 21 mit Georg und Ruben
Hier lernt man fürs Leben: Das Innwerk in der Mariahilfstraße in Passau ist mehr als nur eine Werkstatt – es ist ein Raum für kreative Begegnungen, fachlichen Austausch und solidarische Hilfe. Und Georg Seibt und Ruben Streicher sind mittendrin. Mit dem Innwerk e. V. schaffen sie und die anderen Vereinsmitglieder einen Ort, an dem eine große Auswahl an Werkzeugen verfügbar ist und vielfältige handwerkliche Betätigung für alle Raum findet. Georg, Informatiker ohne familiären Bezug zum Handwerk, und Ruben, Kunstpädagogik-Student mit Fahrrad-Leidenschaft, verkörpern die Vielfalt dieser Maker-Community, die beweist: Wer will, kann hier einfach mal machen.

Der Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald gilt als Vorreiter für den Schutz unberührter Natur in Deutschland. Seit 2009 steht Max Greiner als Vorsitzender des Vereins Pro Nationalpark Freyung-Grafenau e. V. an der Spitze einer engagierten Gemeinschaft, die sich als Fürsprecher des Parks versteht. Mit rund 2.500 Führungen pro Jahr bringt der Verein zigtausenden Besucher:innen den Gedanken näher, Natur Natur sein zu lassen.
