<p>Nick and Desiree Wingo have been married for 15 years. Through an incredible amount of struggle and pain, they have learned how to come together and walk as one united front. Nick a former firefighter that retired with PTSD and Desiree who came from trauma in the home as a child have come together and worked through the struggle of trauma while learning to be connected with one another. They have learned the power of connection and vulnerability and understand how amazing marriage can be. By learning to come together in complex situations they have learned how to work through the difficulties that arise in marriage. They have learned how to get in touch with their emotions, and their bodies, and become open to many different things to help them in their marriage. Using breath work, yoga, meditation, sound bowls, eye gazing, along with many other healing modalities they have learned how to have a deep intimate connection with one another. Being raised in strict Christian homes Nick and Des never knew that it was ok to use these healing modalities to help them in an amazing way. They have learned that they can lean into their faith and still use all of these other healing modalities in a powerful way. They believe that God has placed all things on earth for us and that they are a true gift from God that can help us in so many ways, bringing deep connection with each other.</p>

After she lost her son Jake to suicide in 14’ she began a journey of healing and self-discovery that would lead her to a deep understanding of vulnerability as a superpower and armor as a tool used to keep the world out. She has worked tirelessly with her own children and many others helping them to drop the armor and connect through vulnerability.
