TUẦN 113: TIN MỪNG GIOAN (CHƯƠNG 13-17) - KINH THÁNH 100 TUẦN.
Một lần nữa, tác giả nói đến lễ Vượt qua nhưng đây sẽ là cuộc vượt qua của chính Chúa Giêsu, từ thế gian mà về cùng Cha (13,1.3). Trong trình thuật này, Chúa Giêsu vốn là tôi tớ của Thiên Chúa nay lại trở thành tôi tớ loài người. Giờ của Người đã đến và Người yêu thương những kẻ thuộc về Người đến cùng (13,1), đến cùng thời gian và đến cùng sức lực. Vì chính Chúa Giêsu đã làm nhiệm vụ người tôi tớ nên chúng ta, các môn đệ của Người, cũng được mời gọi rửa chân cho nhau: “Thầy đã nêu gương cho anh em, để anh em cũng làm như Thầy đã làm cho anh em” (câu 15). TUẦN 112: TIN MỪNG GIOAN (CHƯƠNG 6-12) - KINH THÁNH 100 TUẦN.
Lễ Vượt qua là lễ bánh không men, vì thế ghi chú về lễ Vượt qua (câu 4) có mục đích chuẩn bị cho chúng ta hiểu về dấu lạ hoá bánh ra nhiều sắp xẩy ra. Đây là phép lạ duy nhất được cả bốn sách Tin Mừng kể lại (Marco kể hai lần 6,31-34 và 8,1-10; Matthêu kể hai lần 14,13-21 và 15,32-38; Luca 9,10-17). Sự kiện đó cho thấy tầm quan trọng của trình thuật này trong đời sống Giáo Hội sơ khai. Thật vậy, những gì Chúa Giêsu đã làm khi hoá bánh ra nhiều trở thành chuẩn mực cho việc cử hành Thánh Thể trong các cộng đoàn. Trong trình thuật của Tin Mừng nhất lãm, Chúa Giêsu cầm lấy bánh, dâng lời chúc tụng, bẻ ra và trao cho… Các thừa tác viên cũng làm như thế khi cử hành Thánh Thể. Trình thuật của Gioan cũng mang tính nghi lễ như thế, nhưng ngài thêm một chi tiết vốn là nét đặc trưng của Kitô giáo : Chúa Giêsu cầm lấy bánh, tạ ơn, và phân phát (6,11). Trong tiếng Hi lạp, từ mà ta dịch là tạ ơn là eucharisteo, cũng là từ được dùng để nói về Thánh Thể. Thánh Gioan còn nhắc lại ý nghĩa này ở 6,23: “Có những thuyền khác từ Tibêria đến gần nơi dân chúng đã được ăn bánh sau khi Chúa dâng lời tạ ơn.”KINH THÁNH 100 TUẦN - ĐỨC CHA PHÊ RÔ NGUYỄN VĂN KHẢM.
