Stop Talking. Start Doing. | What Announcing Your Goals Actually Does

The business is coming. The book is coming. The launch is coming. You've got the vision board, the playlist, and the announcement drafted. So why does nothing ever actually arrive? If you've been fluent in intention and quiet on execution, this episode is for you. Because research suggests announcing your goals can make you less likely to achieve them. Your brain gets rewarded for the announcement like it was the accomplishment. In this episode of Empower On Purpose, Jaresha Moore closes the gap between your mouth and your movement. In this episode, we talk about: The research on why talking about goals feels like progress and stops it The performance of preparation: courses, planners, and vision boards as entertainment Why motivation is not required and action creates it, not the other way around Implementation intentions: the simple when and where practice that multiplies follow through Moving in silence as protection, not paranoia The 48 hour rule and the announcement fast This is a conversation about execution, discipline, goal setting, and personal growth for anyone whose dream exists everywhere except reality. The Room Didn't Change. You Did. | Your Discomfort Is Data

Nothing is technically wrong. The job is fine. The people are fine. The routine is fine. So why does it all suddenly feel like it belongs to someone else? If you've been feeling restless, disconnected, or uncomfortable in spaces that used to feel like home, this episode is for you. Because that feeling may not be a problem. It may be proof that you've grown. In this episode of Empower On Purpose, Jaresha Moore unpacks the uncomfortable side of personal growth: what happens when the new version of you is trying to live inside an old version of your life. In this episode, we talk about: How to know when you've outgrown your old life, old habits, and old identity Why growth changes your tolerance for what you used to accept Why something doesn't have to fall apart before you're allowed to release it Reading your discomfort as data instead of dysfunction Turning becoming into behavior: making decisions as the woman you're becoming Boundaries, choosing yourself, and leading without carrying everything This is a conversation about personal development, intentional living, purpose, and leadership for anyone standing at the edge of an old version of their life. Power isn't potential. It's activated. Visit EmpowerOnPurpose.com to stay connected and explore resources designed to help you lead, grow, and live on purpose.
