(#123) Short-Term Discomfort, Long-Term Comfort: Micro-Boundaries to Prevent Burnout
In this EmpowerHER podcast episode, Diana explains how “short-term comfort can equal long-term discomfort” while short-term discomfort like setting boundaries or saying no can create long-term freedom and well-being. Drawing on her experiences as a former people pleaser in romantic relationships and her burnout in corporate and freelance work, she discusses resentment, depletion, and the need for both physical and energetic/spiritual boundaries. She shares seven practical “micro-boundaries” to reduce overwhelm: protect gym or personal time as non-negotiable calendar blocks, log hours, know your personal burnout number, say no to low-value work, push timelines out and ask what to deprioritize, maintain personal non-negotiables (sleep, meals, gym), and set internal boundaries by pausing before responding.

(#122) How to Want Something Without Bracing for the Fall
This episode is all about believing things will work out without needing to control exactly how they do. Diana breaks down the difference between hoping and trained belief, and why manifestation has nothing to do with toxic positivity or sitting back and waiting.
She gets honest about being a naturally anxious, type-A worrier who reframed her whole relationship with control after 2020, and walks through the real examples still shaping her life: the years she barely covered her bills while building her business, the vision boards, and the apartment hunt she's in the middle of right now. She names the pattern she sees constantly with her career clients, refusing to picture getting the job so a rejection won't hurt and explains why that self-protection quietly costs you the room. Then she gets practical: the difference between fragile "specific outcome" belief and resilient "holistic" belief, the nervous-system-first approach that makes any mindset work actually stick, and the exact tools (breathing, grounding, affirmations, visualization) you can start using this week.
If you've been afraid to want something out loud, this one's for you.

(#121) The Arrival Fallacy: Why Hitting Your Goals Never Feels Like Enough
On the EmpowerHER podcast, Diana unpacks the arrival fallacy, the reason the goal you thought was the finish line always turns out to be the starting line. Drawing on her own story of four promotions in six and a half years, she explains why the high fades so fast, why high-achieving women get hit the hardest, and how our worth gets quietly tangled up in titles, paychecks, and the next big thing. She shares the season of budgeting every dollar that taught her to appreciate where she was, then hands over a full seven-part toolkit from language shifting and process goals to savor rituals, real-time gratitude, and decoupling identity from the next milestone so you can stop chasing and actually enjoy the process.
