[…] No, because that is a huge investment. They would have to be passed on from the OEM to the customer. And to do that all at once would be a huge increase in the price of the vehicle with perhaps no obvious operational benefit to that fleet customer. So what we see instead is very measured and cautious steps forward where we reuse a lot of legacy architecture and then take a step forward as far as adopting a software defined architecture. So the first step is to get existing systems have the interfaces standardized and working together and then slowly integrate those systems over time. So while passenger cars, some have successfully moved to more advanced architectures in a faster amount of time, it's a very slow and measured approach in the commercial vehicle space. […]
