Clarity, Calm and Confidence with Lucy Scarlett

En Wellbeing welcomes breathwork practitioner and mindset coach Lucy Scarlett to discuss why people seek resets at the start of the year and how to access future-focused feelings by combining a “top down” mindset approach with a “bottom up” nervous system approach. Lucy explains that feeling stuck often reflects stress, anxiety, or dysregulation rather than true presence, and suggests building awareness by noticing subtle moments of distraction, procrastination, and people-pleasing. Lulu and Lucy explore how burnout can show up as overwhelm, irritability, autopilot, or difficulty with basic decisions, and how control, micromanaging, and overpreparation can be self-sabotaging overextensions of strengths rooted in safety-seeking beliefs. Lucy describes conscious connected breathwork, emotional “blockages,” and nervous system capacity, and closes by sharing an upcoming online five-day reset for 2026 combining breath practices and visualization.

00:00 Meet Lulu and Lucy

00:53 Why New Year Resets Work

02:12 Accessing Future Feelings

03:13 Top Down Bottom Up Method

06:06 Spotting Patterns on Autopilot

08:06 Clients Seeking Clarity Calm

10:02 Anxiety Options and Burnout

14:08 Burnout Signs and Coping

16:52 Building Self Trust

21:58 Self Sabotage and Control

25:04 Type A Micromanaging at Work

29:21 Nervous System Bucket Model

30:27 Breathwork For Release

31:44 Capacity Like The Gym

32:45 Energy Emotions Blockages

34:32 Tap Metaphor Processing

36:10 What Is Connected Breathing

39:51 Modern Pace Burnout

40:54 Beginner Steps And Gears

43:12 Identity And Core Values

45:57 Values Principles Beliefs

51:42 Loosening Limiting Beliefs

53:27 Rewiring Takes Ongoing Work

56:40 Five Day Reset Closing

You can learn more about Lucy Scarlett, her Breathwork and Mindset Coaching - as well as future events and workshops she will be hosting at:

IG: @lucycalmconfidence

YouTube: @lucyscarlettcoaching

You can also learn more about En Wellbeing at:

IG: @enwellbeing

Site: www.enwellbeing.com

We would like to thank The Podcast Room, London for the recording of this episode.

Self Worth and Finding Purpose - Pt. 1

Recorded around this time last year (2020) after first encountering her at a Women's Day Event by The Vibe Tribe - Riya Chandiramani shares how she overcame ‘Definition by Numbers’, and through some guidance from her Grandmother, dug deep and transformed inner demons into Art that is both powerful and purposeful.

Riya Chandiramani's paintings explore bold ideas in today's society with intricacy and wit. Referencing iconography from both traditional and popular cultures, Riya's art consistently reminds us of how far we as a society have come, and how, in certain areas, we have a long way to go. Riya's mission is to bridge ideas of the past with modern times, whilst challenging constructs and ideals that have keep our civilization divided and inhibit us from recognizing our true worth. Her current series explores the censorship, sexualization and creative powers of the female body.

Riya is based in Hong Kong, where she was raised.
