Radio Encompass Podcast is your hub for stories of growth, expert insights, and community impact. Join us as we explore how we are working together to build a community where ALL children thrive. From transformative programs to the local resources that make them possible, we are celebrating the connections that build a stronger future.
Whether you’re a parent looking for support or a neighbor invested in our community’s well-being, we’re glad you’re here.
Encompass is a non-profit based in King County, Washington. We offer Early Support, Early Learning, and Pediatric Therapy programs for families with children birth through elementary school.
As we head into the 60th episode of our Radio Encompass podcast, we are also celebrating 60 years of Encompass in our community. To commemorate this milestone, our host, Caley George, chats with someone who has poured years of passion and leadership into Encompass – Nancy Whitaker.
Nancy started as a parent seeking support for her infant son, then joined the Board of Directors soon after. In time, she was hired as a staff member, serving in different roles before taking the helm as the Executive Director. Now retired, she remains one of our most devoted champions.
Together, Caley and Nancy reflect on 60 years of Encompass and how it has grown and evolved alongside our community.
