Isaiah Part 2 - The Highway of Holiness
<p>In a part 2 to our first message on Isaiah, Abigail Forman teaches today on the 'Highway of Holiness' (Isaiah 35: 8). The word 'holy' is found in the book of Isaiah over 60 times, it is a book about holiness.<br/><br/>To step into the fullness of the what God has for us, we need to be holy. This can feel burdensome and convicting in a painful way as we know how much we can and do fall short of the holiness of God. The Gospel in Isaiah - What One Encounter With God Will Do To Your Life...
<p>Isaiah chapter 6 contains one of the most powerful records of a human encountering God. <br/><br/>What is fascinating is the effect this encounter had on the prophet. Like Moses, Samuel, Solomon and countless others, after having an encounter with God the change it causes in the direction of Isaiah's life is undeniable <br/><br/>In Isaiah chapter 6 we see what needs to happen first between us and God and in our hearts before we can get to the directional / instructional part of our relationship with Him.
