Podcast Overview

So.. you've decided to take the leap, you're building and ready for take-off but marketing sucks and you have no idea how to tell your story? How to communicate what you do, clearly. How to become visible and get found online. Each week I sit down with women midlife who transitioned from employee to female entrepreneur building businesses with purpose across alternative health, somatic or therapist businesses and share their learnings, frameworks and how they found a way to be seen, and build trust, without losing themselves in the process. We talk about the hesitation to self-promote for women midlife - versus the absolute business necessity of being visible to attract clients and customers. I’m Mel, a premium brand strategist helping purpose-driven women entrepreneurs uncover their difference and tell their story - in a way that feels safe and makes the right people say yes. I spent 20 years in brand marketing and CSR - working with the likes of Breitling, Davidoff, Baileys. Yet - when it came to promoting myself - I froze. I did the work, I believed in the work, and then at the last moment I hid the author. The microphone was my biggest fear. Then it was my cure. And I can help you get there too. I am the ultimate proof of concept that you can become "happily visible". I'm a mama with a little girl in primary school. I've built a portfolio career across brand consulting and helping people with self-marketing. I run Sunny Chapter - "THE conversation-first content studio" where I help purposeful women build trust through conversation-led marketing. I work with coaches, therapists and practitioners whose work is transformative but difficult to explain. I don’t teach you to become a content creator. Instead I interview you so your own words and tone and voice become your marketing. Because the best marketing isn’t created. It’s extracted. WHAT'S NEXT? Subscribe and follow the podcast! Authentic Visibility Marketing for Somatic and Transformational Practitioners: The Translation Gap Keeping You Invisible

If you got value from this episode - share it with a friend!

This week I am looking for 5 women that fit the profile I describe in this episode for a 15min research call 5-7 questions - in return I produce a content edit for you. Interested? apply at hey@sunnychapter.com

Get The Sunday Shift - Learn how to get happily visible

In this solo episode:

I have watched the same thing happen over and over with the women I follow and interview in the somatic and holistic health space. They live in this particular world every day. Somatic inner work, breath work, energy work, healing, it's so normal for them, so understandable. But when they try to talk about it publicly, the people listening have no access to the type of terminology they use, or to how exactly this work transforms a life.

So they get stuck right there. They know they need to be visible online. At the same time, it doesn't come naturally to them. Most of them build their client base through referrals, through friends recommending friends, because this work is trust-based. People don't buy coaching or therapy because they can judge the quality beforehand. They buy because they trust the person. Yet most marketing teaches people to perform instead of connect.

This is exactly why I renamed this podcast from Mama What's Next to Happily Visible.

I've spent 20-plus years in marketing, working with brands like Davidoff, Rimmel, and Shiseido. I bring that same background now to the women I love working with most: those who left corporate due to burnout, pay gaps, and structures that don't support motherhood, and who redirected into alternative health, holistic practices, wellness, coaching, and somatic work. They arrive with deep expertise and zero marketing infrastructure. Many of them are also women over 40, rebuilding on their own terms, in a body and a life stage that asks for something more honest than hustle-driven content.

In this episode, I talk about:

Why I renamed the show Happily Visible, and what founder storytelling, visibility marketing, and visibility healing mean as the three pillars behind it

Why the somatic therapy market is growing at 17.5% annually, and what that means for emerging roles like nervous system coach, trauma-informed wellness coach, breath work facilitator, and craniosacral therapist

How I used founder story, not trend-chasing, to build a global campaign for Davidoff around Zino Davidoff as an explorer, an adventurer, and a connoisseur

Why the best marketing is not created, it's uncovered, and what that actually means in practice

My new offer: a 60 to 90 minute story, brand, visibility session built around your story, your expertise, your methods, your social proof, so you can sell your work and promote yourself in a way that feels natural, not performative

from the episode:

"People don't buy coaching or therapy because they can judge the quality beforehand. Recruiting, Führung, Head of HR.

Finde Sabrina hier:

www.sunandsparks.com & www.sabrinarest.de

LinkedIn

Instagram

If you have a question or need advice, DM me on Instagram or LinkedIn

Loved this episode?
