Each week I sit down with women midlife who transitioned from employee to entrepreneur building a service-based business over 40. They work across alternative health/wellbeing business, somatic work or built a therapist business. We talk about visibility strategy, frameworks, women empowerment and how they found ways to get found, be seen, without losing themselves in the process. We talk about the hesitation to self-promote for women midlife - versus the absolute business necessity of becoming visible to attract clients and customers. I’m Mel, a premium brand strategist and I spent 20 years in brand marketing and CSR - working with the likes of Breitling, Davidoff, and Baileys. Yet - when it came to promoting myself - I froze. I did the work, I believed in the work, and then at the last moment I hid the author. The microphone was my biggest fear. Then it was my cure. And I can help you get there too. I am the ultimate proof of concept that you can become "happily visible". I'm a mama with a little girl in primary school. I've built a portfolio career across brand consulting and helping people with self-marketing. I run Sunny Chapter - "THE conversation-first content studio" where I help women promote their work naturally through conversation - not performance. I work with coaches, therapists and practitioners whose work is transformative but difficult to explain. I don’t teach you to become a content creator.
