Unexplained Infertility, Recurrent Miscarriage & a 30-Minute ENDOSURE Endometriosis Diagnosis: Natalie’s Surgery-to-Pregnancy Story

Natalie’s Surgery-to-Pregnancy Story In this episode of Endometriosis A to Z, host Maria Porcellato (CEO of Endodiagnosis) interviews Natalie Hezra from Vancouver, BC, Canada about her fertility journey after years of being told she had “unexplained infertility”. After trying to conceive since 2020 and experiencing an ectopic pregnancy, recurrent miscarriages, and limited support for surgery, Natalie pursued the Tier-1 ENDOSURE EVG (electroviscerogram) point-of-care test—a 30-minute, non-invasive, highly accurate way to diagnose endometriosis. Her ENDOSURE result was positive, which helped her advocate for and access excision surgery at BC Women’s within nine months; surgery found stage 2 endometriosis affecting her ovaries. Natalie conceived four weeks after surgery, experienced additional losses, and is now pregnant with a baby boy due in August. They discuss how hormonal contraception can mask symptoms, the importance of early detection, and patient self-advocacy.

00:00 Welcome and Guest Intro 00:50

What Is Endosure 01:30 Natalie Fertility Journey

03:23 Symptoms and IUD Masking

05:00 Positive Test and Surgery Push

06:02 Pregnancy After Surgery

08:21 Advocacy and Expedited Care

11:19 Silent Endo and Surgery Findings

13:44 Miscarriage Factors and Healing

16:51 Future Plans and Education

20:23 Advice Get Tested Early

22:20 Closing and Contact Info

EndoDiagnosis, Inc is the distributor of ENDOSURE in Canada.

#EndoDiagnosis #ENDOSURE #endometriosissurgery #infertilitytreatment #fertilitytreatment

Surgery confirmed stage 2 endometriosis with three lesions near her bowel and bladder. Ashleigh became pregnant six weeks later after 7-years of infertility, delivering a healthy baby, Elijah, after an easy pregnancy and birth with midwife support.
