<p><strong>Arild Tveiten is the head coach of the Norwegian Triathlon Federation, the coach who guided three ordinary young athletes who as Arild said himself would not have made any other countries National team for triathlon, and made them the best in the world.</strong></p> <p><strong>Olympic Gold medalist and 2021 WTCS champion, Kristian Blummenfelt, x2 70.3 World Champion Gustav Iden, and 2018 Bermuda WTCS winner Casper Stornes, as well as olympian Lotte Miller and a whole host of new up and coming Norwegian athletes are under the guidance of Arild.</strong></p> <p>In this episode Arild shares his own story of how he got involved in triathlon, competed in Kona, and then took up the position of head coach for a group of junior athletes which just happened through luck or coincidence or perhaps just as a result of Arilds belief and vision to produce the names mentioned above.</p> <p>We talk about the team spirit and confidence of the Norwegians, the meticulous scientific testing and procedures that are implemented in their daily training and the love and joy of training and racing that radiates from the team.</p>
