[…] As you mentioned, two-thirds of your bill was the commodity and one-third was the delivery 15 years ago. And now that's flipped because the The throughput is going down, but yet they're still spending all this money to deliver the gas to you, and that just gets reflected in the delivery portion of your bill. And so what we're doing with the Future of Heat initiative, and this was a logical place for me to land sort of after I left the DPU because of the work that we had done in Massachusetts on the future of the gas industry, and then also reducing the spending on replacement of pipes. What we're doing with the Future of Heat initiative is basically – impressing upon governors and regulators and their staffs, this problem needs to be addressed. […]
