Match week used to be torment for Lucy Packer: loss of appetite, struggling to sleep and travel sickness were common for her as she battled with her nerves ahead of games. Now a designated match day routine and planning have helped her manage her nerves and become a Rugby Would Cup winner with the Red Roses.
The Harlequins scrum half also discusses her dual heritage, having grown up in a small village in Wales and her special family link to English rugby legend Adrian Stoop. Lucy opens up on the reality of being an introvert in camp, her close friendships with Ellie Kildunne, Maud Muir and Sadia Kabeya as well as her studies away from the game, having completed a biochemistry degree and now starting a Masters in neuroscience.

Lilli Ives Campion
Competing in the biggest tournament of her young career, Lilli Ives Campion had to deal with more than just a Rugby World Cup when her granddad passed away.
The Red Roses lock opens up on the grief she dealt with during the 2025 tournament, her family’s reaction and how she told the squad as they were in the middle of preparations.
Ives Campion also talks about life growing up on a farm where she would ride horses and help with lambing, the importance of a notebook with Sarah Bern and how her match day make-up is an important part of her routine.

Zoe Harrison - Coeliac disease, Welsh dad & 'sister' Jess Breach
Constantly feeling bloated whenever she ate, Zoe Harrison knew something was wrong: at the age of 26 she was diagnosed with Coeliac disease. She reveals the effects the autoimmune disease has on her day-to-day, the dietary changes she has to make and why she has to be on the alert for contamination.
The Saracens fly half also discusses being coached by her Welsh father growing up, the pressure and scrutiny of playing number 10 and why her friendship with Jess Breach has lasted so long. […] In the earlier days when I went from I guess we noticed there's a club player to play for my province, Waikato, you had to mix two club trainings a week with two provincial trainings which are sort of met in the centre of the province so you're about 30 -40 minutes away so you ended up having pretty close to four trainings a week and I was still having to work as a Kondi server so I never really had any illusions or vision I guess that rugby would have go professional if you wanted to play at that level and aspire to become an all black.
