Like the data you extract from e-mail responses. A huge challenge when you send out over 500.000 e-mails to about ten million customers each month. Technical specialists Aleks and Piet managed to build a feed back loop with data, using different tools like Pega, Acoustic, Python and Kafka.</p>

<p>Met data voorspellen waar netwerkonderhoud nodig is. Daarmee kun je dus een probleem ontdekken en tackelen nog vóórdat de klant haperingen of storingen in zijn WiFi krijgt. Michiel (Lead Data Scientist) en Huib (Manager HFC Netwerk) werkten zich ervoor in het zweet en vertellen hoe ze dit voor elkaar kregen.</p>

<p>Hoe zorg je voor helderheid in een complex IT-landschap van wel duizend API’s? Door de jaren heen is er binnen VodafoneZiggo een wildgroei van Application Programming Interfaces ontstaan. Veel ervan zijn verouderd, of er ontbreekt documentatie. Om er bedrijfsbreed zo efficiënt mee te kunnen blijven werken, moest daar orde in komen. Daarover praat Herbert in deze aflevering met Otto Houtenbos, die met zijn team orde in de chaos schiep.</p>
