About Enlightenment before Death-E9MBD

Your Enlightenment Coach. When you’re tired of astrologers, tarot, healers, rituals, meditations and philosophies, I’ll be here, waiting for you at the end. Enlightenment Before Death — E9MBD is for people willing to investigate the questions spirituality often answers too quickly: What are you? What survives death? Is consciousness produced by the brain? What do past-life experiences, near-death experiences and out-of-body experiences actually tell us—and what do they not tell us? I’m Sumitjee. For more than 15 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of cases involving Past Life Regression (PLR), Life Between Lives (LBL), unusual experiences around death, and related consciousness work. Here, those experiences are not treated as beliefs you must accept. They become material for investigation. Episodes move between solo teachings, philosophy, consciousness research, case discussions, death practice, and conversations that may include Osho, Nietzsche, Buddhism, Vedanta, psychology and the stranger edges of human experience. But E9MBD is not really a podcast about past lives, astrology, NDEs or paranormal phenomena. Enlightenment is the centre. Everything else is an instrument. You have spent your life learning how to live. Perhaps it is time to ask whether you are prepared to die. e9mbd.online

Distinctions between risk, danger, uncertainty, and ruin

Risk vs. Danger: Danger is not risk; risk is not uncertainty, and uncertainty is not ruin 1. Symmetric vs. Asymmetric Bets: Symmetric: Equal exchange of value (e.g., a trade deal) 4. Asymmetric: Small investment for a potentially massive reward (e.g., lottery tickets, real estate, or emotional persuasion) 45. Courage vs. Stupidity: These are often distinguished only by the outcome bias; a successful risk is labeled courageous, while a failure is labeled stupid 67. Safety vs. Defense: Safety is intelligent preparation, whereas living "defensively" is an anticipation of fear that stops a person from loving, changing, or admitting ignorance

GANESHA part 1 - WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU BOWING TO?

Non-Duality and the Nature of Brahman Dissolution of Duality: While popular worship views Ganesha as a separate entity to be bargained with for obstacle removal, the Ganapati Atharvasiras text identifies Ganesha as Brahman (pure consciousness), meaning the worshipper and the worshipped are not separate 25. Information vs. Realization: Sumitendra distinguishes between intellectual knowledge of non-duality and actual realization, noting that many "teachers" merely memorize texts without experiencing the truth, which is only truly tested during a near-death experience 67. The Paradox of Form: Ganesha is described as being beyond the three gunas (qualities), three bodies, and time, yet is simultaneously located in the Muladhara Chakra 89. The elephant form is a necessary "ladder" or tool for humans to conceptualize the formless absolute 1011.

   The Waking Process

The Waking Process and the "Boot-up" Analogy Consciousness vs. Story: Upon waking, consciousness returns first, followed by a brief interval before the "story" of the individual (name, roles, problems) loads 35. Computer Analogy: The mind functions like a computer booting up; the hardware and operating system (awareness) activate first, while personal files (identity, memories, obligations) load sequentially 16. The Gap: There is a tiny, nascent interval during waking where one can experience pure consciousness before associating with a specific identity 78. Identity as Data: Personal identity is compared to customized settings on a phone; while the hardware is the same for everyone, the "interface" (beliefs, culture, language) distinguishes individuals 29. The Memory Paradox: Infancy: Humans associate with their baby selves despite having no conscious memory of that period 1011. Dementia: In severe dementia, the autobiographical person "dies" as memories vanish, yet the conscious experience and physical organism continue 412. Conclusion on Survival: The speaker suggests that "personal survival" is often confused with the preservation of memory, whereas true continuity may reside in consciousness alone 1314. The Immortal Deal: An alien offers immortality on the condition that autobiographical memory is factory-reset every 30 years 1516. The speaker argues most people would reject this, revealing that they desire the immortality of their "story" rather than the immortality of their consciousness 1317. Data Exchange: A hypothetical scenario where two people swap memories while keeping their own bodies suggests that the "owner" of the memory is a manufactured impression, not a fixed entity 1819. Reincarnation: The discussion questions whether "I" can be said to reincarnate if the memories of the previous life are gone, suggesting that only the "operating system" (consciousness) persists 1620. Philosophy vs. Meditation: Philosophy seeks answers, while meditation involves "marinating" in the question without manufacturing an answer 21. Death Rehearsal: The E9MBD exercise involves a mental subtraction of all possessions, social roles, and eventually the autobiography to see what remains 2223. The Goal: To experience the discomfort of losing all identifying data to realize that the "I" who observes is separate from the "I" defined by the story 2425. Daily Application: Practitioners are encouraged to be vigilant during the fraction of a second upon waking to notice the awareness that exists before they "become somebody" 2627.
