I'm Not Crying, You're Crying
Mike Paston is back on the pod this week, joining Eric and Pat to break down another wild weekend across college football and the NFL. The guys talk Georgia looking like the best team in the country, Florida's resurgence, heartbreaking losses for Michigan and Penn State, the Bengals' frustrating trip to Pittsburgh, and whether teams like Jacksonville, Las Vegas and Dallas might be for real.
Eric also recaps his weekend in Pittsburgh, including a chance encounter with Ja'Marr Chase's dad, before laying down some ground rules for what you should and absolutely should not wear to a sporting event.
With October baseball here, Be My Guess turns to the MLB franchises with the most postseason appearances of all time, while Mike tries to end Pat's brief reign atop the trivia world.
Finally, it's time for Stone Cold Picks. The guys break down their favorite college football and NFL plays of the week, including Vanderbilt-Georgia, Alabama-Mississippi State, Nebraska-Maryland, Cowboys-Texans, Raiders-Chiefs and plenty more.

I Don't Want Your Life
Another loaded football weekend is in the books, and the guys have plenty to talk about. Eric, Bill and Pat break down the biggest moments from college football and the NFL, including another Lane Kiffin loss, some brutal injuries, one of the craziest finishes you'll ever see and a few teams and quarterbacks that are already raising eyebrows.
The guys also revisit one of the greatest sports rants of all time on its 20th anniversary, debate whether football overload is actually possible and weigh in on everything from meddling NFL owners to early-season surprises and disappointments. Eric breaks down NC State's disastrous final play against Vanderbilt, makes the case for Tyler Shough as a potential future star and has some thoughts on what Aaron Rodgers has left in the tank.
Then it's time for a movie-inspired edition of Be My Guess, as Pat and Bill go head-to-head trying to figure out which classic sports movies hit theaters first. From Rudy and Tin Cup to Rocky and Raging Bull, one of the guys finally finds a category he can dominate.
Finally, the crew heads back to the betting window for this week's Stone Cold picks. After going 8-4 collectively last week, each guy makes two college football and two NFL selections as they battle for season-long bragging rights and, more importantly, who will be picking up the tab when they finally get together for dinner.
Plus, Pigskin Madness is officially live! Sandman Sports and MMILV have teamed up for a completely FREE season-long NFL contest, with a VIP trip for two to Las Vegas for the opening weekend of the 2027 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament on the line.
Football, bad beats, sports movies, questionable opinions and plenty of picks. Just another week with the Sandman crew.
