Having someone close to you die is always heavy, but is it the same when a parent dies? In my experience it’s extremely life altering and sometimes others empathy doesn’t necessarily help. Here’s a brief description of my experience thus far. Being an adult doesn’t change the impact of a mother passing, it’s just as devastating as it could have been at any age.
