My Authority
Who or what truly has the greatest authority in your life?In Matthew 21:23–32, religious leaders challenge Jesus: “By what authority are you doing these things?” But their question ultimately turns back on us. If we confess Jesus as Messiah and Lord, is that confession visible in how we actually live?My Authority challenges us to examine the people, beliefs, politics, priorities, relationships, finances, and other influences to which we have given authority. Following Jesus is more than profession, position, or religious practice.
