God invites everyone to the heavenly banquet, but accepting the invitation means more than showing up. It calls us to transform our lives through Christlike righteousness, expressed in justice, forgiveness, loving-kindness, and peace.

Pentecost 19 - Mistaking God’s Vineyard As Our Own
Jesus’ parable of the wicked tenants challenges people who mistake God’s gifts for possessions. Father Anthony explores stewardship of blessings, people, creation, and resources, warning against entitlement and exclusion. Faithful stewardship recognizes everything as God’s gift and calls believers to live together through joy, prayer, gratitude, compassion, and service.

Pentecost 18 - Wisdom, Honor, and the Courage to Do What Is Right
Celebrating Transfiguration’s 70th anniversary, Fr. Casey explores Jesus’ parable of the two sons and argues that genuine character requires more than knowing or saying what is right. Wisdom must become honor and service. That final distinction captures the sermon's central message: Christian formation involves more than knowing, believing, or saying the right things. It requires the integration of conscience, wisdom, courage, and action so that what people recognize as good becomes visible in the way they live.
