<p>It's a common practice to check Rotten Tomatoes or IMDB to see if a film is worth watching. Maybe you're flipping through Amazon Prime and trying to pick a movie and you're only coming across films that have one or two stars. The thing is, movie ranking sites are not objective. They are often reviewed by straight men who tend to enjoy more masculine themes and male leading actors. We wanted to chat about how these sites work and if people should be using them. Like with all things, it's important to develop your own opinion but it's always better to do so when you have all of the information.
