About wrong images in horsesports and a meeting in Paris 3/2
<p>My today's episodes guest initially founded the Collectif pour les chevaux in France and she invited me to attend a meeting of this group in Paris in the end of april 2024. She's a vet from Belgium and her name is Eva van Avermaet.</p> <p>Do you know the Collectif Pour les chevaux? Heute habe ich einen internationalen Gast und deshalb poste ich diese Folge auf Englisch.</p> <p>Ich versuche, eine Lösung für diejenigen zu finden, die nicht genug Englisch verstehen, um dieser Folge zu folgen und werde euch hier in den Shownotes informieren, sobald ich diese Folge transkribiert habe.</p> <p>Kennt Ihr das Collectif Pour les chevaux? Dieser Name ist französisch und bedeutet Kollektiv für die Pferde.</p> <p>Es handelt sich dabei um den Namen einer französischen Gruppe, die sich dafür einsetzt, dass die Verwendung von LDR, Low, Deep and Round im Umgang mit Pferden beendet wird.</p> <p>Ende April traf sich die Gruppe in Paris, und ich war eingeladen.</p> <p>Was haben wir dort gemacht?</p> <p>Wir sind gemeinsam zum internationalen FEI-Dressurturnier in Fontainebleau gereist, und zwar nicht einfach so, sondern wir waren als Gruppe angemeldet, die sehen wollte, wie die Pferde auf dem Abreiteplatz geritten werden.</p> <p>Vor den Wettkämpfen haben wir Reiter aus den Niederlanden, der Schweiz, England und Frankreich gesehen.</p> <p>Deutsche Reiter waren nicht dabei, da zur gleichen Zeit in Hagen die Horses & Dreams stattfand.</p> <p>Nach dem Wettbewerb hatte das Treffen auch einen Seminarteil, bei dem wir einen ganzen Tag lang Experten aus der ganzen Welt zuhören konnten, die darüber sprachen, was falsch läuft und wie man es ändern kann. Mit Eva spreche ich darüber, wie sie die aktuelle Situation wahrnimmt, welche Schwierigkeiten sie sieht, wie die Reaktionen auf ihre Bemühungen sind und was wir alle tun können, um die Welt für Pferde etwas besser zu machen.</p> <p><br></p>
