Transitions from High School to College for Students with Disabilities with Michelle Mitchell
<p>In this compelling episode, we engaged in an insightful conversation with Michelle Mitchell, Professor and Disability Learning Specialist at Lehigh Carbon Community College, who shared her invaluable insights on the various challenges faced by students with disabilities while transitioning from high school to college. One of the most pressing issues that we will tackle in this episode is the lack of support services available to these students and highlight the SEED (Success, Engagement, Education, Determination) Program, which is a collaborative effort between the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living and Lehigh Carbon Community College. Dr. Obiakor has presented more than 300 papers at national and international conferences and currently serves on the editorial boards of several reputable nationally and internationally refereed journals. Notably, he is the Founding/Executive Editor of Multicultural Learning and Teaching (MLT).</p>
