Meet the Advisors: Ana Dodson
Ana M. Dodson, MA, PsyD, is a School Psychologist and works at St. Anne’s Episcopal School and KPLA. Ana is certified as an EMDR therapist for adults and children and is also certified in the Neurosequential Model of Education Program created by Dr. Bruce Perry. As a former teacher and reading specialist, she is particularly interested in how the development of Social Emotional Learning skills can be transferred into the classroom. Dodson is the creator of a summer Mental Health Academy for teachers. She is currently working on a book for teachers on simple, effective activities that can be integrated into the school day and support SEL for students. Sound Bowl Healing
Learn about this ancient modality for healing all sorts of things in our bodies and brains. Soundbaths are a great way to calm the brain and help heal trauma stored in the body. Nina tells us how it works, talks about other sound instruments, and gives us a short crystal bowl meditation we can use whenever it's needed.
Nina Collier is a Sound Bath and Somatic Healer facilitator.
