I am Eric Wong, I will be having real talks with people about their life journeys. Each episode is recorded live and published uncut.
I won't be focusing on how to make money or manage your time better. There are plenty of other shows for that, I am more interested in people's stories.
You could be the next Elon Musk, but chances are, you won't.
Wanting to become a billionaire will put unnecessary pressure on yourself. You can find happiness in life with a lot less.
Every life is unique and we can learn from each other.

Overcoming tough circumstances and keeping positive - Samuel Woolsmith
My special guest is Samuel Woolsmith, he was a top student in his youth and have successful careers in dentistry and law.
In his thirties, he suddenly had to raised his boys alone, who were only 3 and 5 while running his own clinic. His emphasis is to raise his boys with respect and when they were young, he purposely let them walk by themselves without holding their hands to promote independence.
They have grown to forge successful career in medical research and investment banking.
The key takeaway from this interview is that when faced with adversity, you have a choice - to overcome it and move on, or to let it drag you down forever. Samuel chose to overcome adversity and he had been on a crusade to make the world a better place ever since.
I hope you will enjoy listening to his story, as much I did interviewing him.

15 years on, still having a blast in Audit - Richard Keep
My special guest today is Richard Keep, currently a Director at Ernst & Young, who I had the honour to work with when I was with the firm. He is a seasoned investor and from his Assurance role at EY, he is exposed to the operations of businesses in all shapes and sizes.
While most people quit after 2 years, Richard is still having a blast working in Big4 Audit after 15 years. Hear how he transitioned from Sports Science, working as a gym instructor to helping with family retail business to starting a Masters in Accounting to now be on track to become Partner of a Big4 Accounting firm. And finding the time to help with a worthy startup charity - Pink Elephants.
The key to success is constantly learning and improving.

Work is pressure, business is stress - Edward Sainsbury
My special guest today is Edward Sainsbury. His diverse career includes a stint at MTV, selling a start-up in his 20s to Microsoft, then 20 plus years of corporate finance, advising industry giants.
From meeting Michael Jackson and editing music videos of pop stars to helping SMS being sent between different telcos to becoming an expert in renewable energy. Edward's story is definitely not your standard career.
Hope you enjoy the episode as much as I enjoyed recording it.

Pursuing the Same Passion since 7 Years Old - Senior Master Andrew Rhee
For this episode, I have with me, Senior Master Andrew Rhee, an 8th Dan Taekwon-Do Master, founder of International Taekwon-Do Federation of Australasia, who also served as the personal assistant to General Choi Hong Hi, the original founder of Taekwon-Do.
Hope you enjoy his journey from hating his first lesson then ended up founding his own do-jang and moving to a new country to start it all again. You will also hear what it is like working for General Choi who started Taekwon-Do.
One of my personal takeaway from this interview is the history of how it all started - General Choi learnt Karate as a PoW and completed it with tactics to allow attacking movements in all directions. It was definitely not invented to be a sport.
