In the entire decade before his disappearance, there were only three murders in Dawson Creek. In 2023 alone, there were nine. This was much bigger than the story of one missing person. I jumped at the chance to return to my small-town reporting roots and do what I could for a community looking for answers. In the spring of 2024, Fifth Estate host Mark Kelly and I headed to Dawson Creek.
