About ETCH RADIO [Techno, Tech House, House Music]

Electronic music – whether it's techno, tech house, house music, progressive house, breaks, chill or workout mix – has had a huge impact on my life. It is very emotional to me. It can match any of my moods, and it has a way of just letting me be. These mixes are a reflection of my moods – some are mellow and some are very intense. You probably share those ups and downs, and for that reason I'll sit in my room, late at night, and try to get these mixes just right. Hope you like them. Etch

Etch Radio [035 : Push Me To The Edge]

If I was invited to spin at a day pool party in Vegas, this is what I'd hit them with. The perfect soundtrack to your busy day making new friends and managing your cocktails. It's designed to be background music, but intends to inspire random acts of dancing throughout. A lot of funky bass, some hype remixes, and a few 70's bangers make this an eclectic mix for your day. Dance music, house music, pool party music

Etch Radio [034 : You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone]

Dance music, house music, pool party music : I've been pulling these tracks together for two years. It's been really hard to categorize this one, which might be why I love it so much. Electronic music, for me, affects so many of my emotional states at once. This mix is very representative of that. There are moments of tenderness and moments of elation. There can be tracks that are perfect for peak hours at a club, and then it can be very reflective. The name is something that came to me immediately the moment I finished the mix. Within hours of its completion, a legend of a human being passed and left us. In many ways a father figure to me, he is going to leave a huge hole in many people's lives. But to be honest, he lived an extraordinary life, and memories of him will keep us all comforted. The name also stems from an epic track in this mix by Grimes, and I'll think of Pete every time I hear it. I hope this mix gets inside you, too.
