STEWARDSHIP - THE HEART OF SERVANTHOOD

In Episode 3 of the Stewardship series, Wawa gets into one of the most misunderstood dimensions of stewardship, which is servanthood. Because the parable of the talents in Matthew 25 was never just about multiplication. It was about posture. It was about what you do in the quiet, before anyone is watching, with what the King placed in your hands.
God does not entrust things to favorites. He entrusts things to the faithful. And faithfulness is not about perfection. It is about momentum. It is about doing something with what you have been given rather than burying it in the ground because fear told you to play it safe.

STEWARDSHIP: THE BIG ASK
You have prayed it before. "God if you give me this, I promise I will take care of it." Wawa has too.
But what if the bigger question is not what you are asking for, but why you are asking for it at all? Episode 2 of the Stewardship series goes somewhere honest and uncomfortable and deeply necessary. Because James 4 says it plainly and Jeremiah 17 confirms it. The heart is deceitful and God searches every motive behind every ask.
This is not a discouragement from asking God for things. It is an invitation to ask better, from a place that is rooted in his word and surrendered to his will rather than dressed up desire calling itself faith.

COMMUNITY CAN BE BEAUTIFUL 🌻
Wawa is so back after an unexpected pause from recording, and she is doing well. More than that, she is grateful, grounded, and ready to get back into the conversation.
This episode continues the community series that began earlier in the year, with the part that deserves just as much airtime as the mess, which is the beauty. Using the book of Exodus as a living blueprint and the early church in Acts as a real-world example, we explore what it looks like when people choose to do life together under God with genuine surrender, generosity, and grace.
This is also a personal episode. Wawa opens up about some lessons she learnt about giving people access carelessly because they shared some spaces, and the cost of letting feelings lead instead of wisdom, and the hard but necessary lesson that you cannot make people into you and you cannot demand more from them than you are willing to give yourself.
There is also a word here about influence, about what 1 Corinthians 15:33 actually means for the communities you are choosing to stay in, and about why the posture of meekness is not weakness but one of the most powerful things you can carry into a room.

Because if we’re honest, walking with people isn’t always easy. From Exodus 17, we’re reminded that even when there was complaining, weariness, and battles — God was still present, still providing, still teaching His people how to depend on Him and each other.
And in Romans 12:1–2, we’re called higher — not to blend into the culture of offense, ego, or self-preservation — but to be transformed. To respond differently. To look more like Christ.
Community may be messy…
But we’re still called to love well.
To grow up.
To renew our minds.
To choose Christlikeness, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Asking for a friend will be the season wrapping up Eternity in a Moment 2025, and we are so excited. The heart behind the theme of 'Asking for A Friend' is:
- Having the difficult conversations, we are usually a bit too scared to have because some topics are/seem to have been given a no-no around us, but what does God's wisdom dictate?
- What does it look like for us to apply the wisdom of God in our lives?
The wisdom of God is one certainty we have about the theme God gave us for this season, and the word that backs this up is found in Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend."
