HELDIN
<p>In samenwerking met Studium Generale en het departement filosofie Tilburg University vertoonde de commisie Ethiek en het Verpleegkundig StafBestuur (VSB) van het ETZ de spraakmakende film Heldin. In deze film zien we een verpleegkundige tijdens een nachtdienst waarbij de werkdruk almaar toeneemt. In deze podcast evalueren we met lector Continue Professionele Ontwikkeling Verpleegkundigen Annemarie de Vos en Manon Geritts , verpleegkundige en bestuurslid van de VSB deze film en bespreken we de real-time werkdruk in het ziekenhuis.</p>

Signaleren huiselijk geweld in het ziekenhuis
<p>Vandaag (15 juni) is de internationale dag tegen ouderenmishandeling. Angelique Valks, Aandachtsfunctionaris Huiselijk geweld en Kindermishandeling en Forensisch verpleegkundige vertelt over de schuring tussen het herkennen van signalen van huiselijk geweld en de handelingsverlegenheid bij zorgprofessionals. Ze vertelt aan de hand van voorbeelden bij o.a. ouderen dat de handeling ‘mis’ kan zijn, maar de intentie niet. Door goed door te vragen kun je iemands werkelijke hulpvraag beter begrijpen en in samenwerking met de ketenzorg adequaat tegemoetkomen. In de laatste hele week van november is er de Week tegen Kindermishandeling. Dan zal er een vervolguitzending zijn waarin ervaringsdeskundigen aan het woord komen om dieper in te gaan op dit thema.</p>

Sneeuwvlokjes: Hoezo (on-)veilig?!
<p>De misstanden bij The Voice of Holland hebben de discussie over psychosociale arbeidsbelasting en sociale veiligheid in een stroomversnelling gebracht. Ook in het ETZ. Werk in een ziekenhuis wordt vaak uitgevoerd onder grote druk en is een (redelijk) besloten gemeenschap. In het ETZ werd destijds de werkgroep ‘Gewenst Gedrag’ opgericht, dat uiteindelijk heeft geresulteerd in ETZ SAMEN. Wilma Jackson, manager HR/Leerhuis en Gerlof Bosma, radioloog en decaan, vertellen over hun ervaringen met deze ingewikkelde materie en het ambitieuze plan dat in de startblokken staat.</p><p> </p>
