<p>Ein halbes Jahr bleibt noch bis zu den Europawahlen im Juni 2024, die die Weichen für die EU-Politik der kommenden fünf Jahre stellen werden.</p><p>Damit neigt sich eine Legislaturperiode dem Ende zu, die einerseits von mehreren Krisen geprägt war, andererseits aber auch vom Green Deal, dem klima- und umweltpolitischen Flaggschiff von Kommissionspräsidentin Ursula von der Leyen.</p><p>All dies hat sich auch in der Agrarpolitik bemerkbar gemacht - doch wohin geht die Reise nach den Wahlen? In diesem Podcast spricht Euractiv mit Verbänden aus der agrarpolitischen Sphäre über ihre Bilanz der zu Ende gehenden Legislaturperiode und ihre Erwartungen für die nächste.</p><p>Mit dabei sind Bernhard Krüsken, Generalsekretär des Deutschen Bauernverbands, Johann Rathke, Koordinator für Agrarpolitik und Landnutzungspolitik bei der Umweltschutzorganisation WWF, sowie Thomas Memmert, Mitglied der Geschäftsführung des Deutschen Raiffeisenverbands (DRV), der das Brüsseler Büro der Organisation leitet.</p>

<p><strong>Carbon Farming - zu Deutsch etwa Kohlenstoffbewirtschaftung - ist in der europäischen und deutschen Debatte zu einem viel zitierten Schlagwort geworden.<br></strong><br></p><p>Dabei geht es um die Bindung von bereits ausgestoßenem CO2 in landwirtschaftlichen Böden.
