Twenty 4 Seven - Ruud van Rijen (deel 2)
<p>In de vorige podcast vertelde Twenty 4 Seven oprichter Ruud v Rijen over het begin van zijn carrière, het ontstaan van Twenty 4 Seven en het abrupte einde nadat de platenmaatschappij failliet ging. Van de contractuele vastgelegde 500.000 mark deal heeft hij nooit meer dan 20.000 Mark gekregen. Rapper Captain Hollywood stapt op en Ruud blijft alleen achter. </p> <p>In dit tweede deel vertelt hij over de comeback en het nog grotere succes wat er kwam, maar ook over de spanningen die er ontstaan tussen zangeres Nance en rapper Stay-C. Hoe ging hij daarmee om en welke moeilijke besluiten moest hij nemen? Hij vertelt het allemaal in de tweede deel.</p>

Twenty 4 Seven - Ruud van Rijen (deel 1)
<p>In deze podcast gaan we langs bij Twenty 4 Seven oprichter Ruud van Rijen. Twenty 4 Seven was de eerste echte Eurodance act en werd een blauwdruk voor veel Eurodance formaties die nog zouden volgen. Twenty 4 Seven had succes begin jaren negentig met twee grote hits, naast Nance was Captain Hollywood de vaste rapper. Nadat de platenmaatschappij failliet ging leek dat het doek te vallen voor deze act maar niets bleek minder waar, met rapper Stay-C volgde er een tweede succes periode. Maar de overvolle agenda en enorme druk die die er was om te presteren leverde ook spanningen op tussen rapper en zangeres wat leidde tot een pijnlijke breuk. "Om heel Twenty 4 Seven zit voor mij een rauw randje" zegt mister Twente 4 Seven zelf .</p> <p>Zelden geeft Ruud van Rijen interviews maar in deze podcast komt hij met een aantal onthullende verhalen over hoe bepaalde zaken nou echt gelopen zijn en doet hij een boekje open over de keiharde muziekwereld. </p>
