I was blessed to encounter folk singer/songwriter Jesse Welles on X (formerly Twitter) and reached out to him on DMs. He’s been kind in responding and being genuine.
Jesse Welles is a gifted songwriter whose lyrics cut to the core.
We need more of this but Jesse is one of a kind, a gift from God like the great folk singers of America’s past.
He recently posted his latest song “Charlie” to his Youtube channel (https://youtube.com/@hellswelles?si=qT7t4zAbxMdL8_F6) and shared it to his X account (https://x.com/jesse_welles).
I’m so moved by this song. What we’re witnessing in America now, with people cheering for Charlie Kirk’s assassination, is devastating to behold the evil that people are gleefully putting on display.
I’m sharing Jesse’s song here with you along with his poignant lyrics.
“Charlie” by Jesse Welles:
for all of the bile
the bold talk
the venom the hate and the lies
no one should be killed
no blood should be spilled
Charlie shouldn't have died
well you can't hate the gun and love the gun that shot yer rival
you can't be kind and wish pain upon a child
everybody's gotta say
what they're needing to say
as soon as they're needing to say it
the freedom to speak
to be a freak
and the freedom to say you hate it
and have a big ole conversation
I heard laughing
I heard glee
but it coulda been you
it coulda been me
out in the bloodshed everyone loses
there's unforgettable scars
out in the bloodshed permanent bruises
shapes up who you are
children left to wander america aimless
with a firebrand of resent
wondering who it is took my daddy
with a destiny of revenge
out in the bloodshed the cycle begins
and everyone dies
spin the wheel, if you don't get killed
you wind up dead inside
I heard laughing
I heard glee
but it coulda been you
it coulda been me
💔
RIP Charlie Kirk (1993 - 2025)

Wildfire
This is one of my favorite songs from my youth, and now that I’m getting older it hits me even deeper. Someone posted a live concert performance of this on social media the other day and the song has been haunting me ever since. I looked up the chords and as soon as I started playing and singing, I felt all sorts of feelings and memories coming up for me, and wanted to share it out. So I made this video yesterday. I hope it brings you good feelings and helps wake up some primal memories. With love, Ev

* Restoring Names that Honor American Greatness

* Full Pardons of 1,500 J6 Political Prisoners
* Ending the Weaponization of the Federal Government
* Reversing all of Biden’s Harmful Executive Orders
This has been a day long awaited, and one that many thought would never arrive.
America’s rightful President is back in Office.
Will he ban the safe and effective clot shot myocarditis stroke and cancer inducing, immune function destroying, brain invading, PRION producing, personality changing nanotech de&th jabs and take them off the market once and for all?
We still don’t know, and it’s looking unlikely.
But President Trump did order the re-hiring of every person in the military who lost their job for refusing to take the jab, and with full back pay.
Clearly President Trump does not approve of mandated medical interventions.
So we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out in terms of the rest.
In the meantime, enjoy my talking avatar.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
