   Why Is Theosis So Appealing? The Offense of the Cross Explained

   Why is theOrthodox doctrine of theosis so appealing to many people—especially those whoare dissatisfied with what they see as “cheap grace” or an incomplete Christianlife? In this video, weexamine the appeal of theosis through the lens of the Apostle Paul’s teachingabout the offense of the cross. The desire tobecome holy, overcome sin, become more like Christ, and participate deeply inthe life of God is profoundly good.
