Welcome to an Evening in the Stormcave, with your hosts Grant Walker and Jenelle Schmidt.
Here we are seeking and sharing our favorite stories, across all mediums, that can be enjoyed together as a family. Whether it's our favorite books, movies, music, games or more, we are always looking for the next adventure that our whole family can go on.
Jenelle and Grant both grew up on stories, whether it was their Dad reading to them almost every night, their Mom introducing them to Adventures in Odyssey, Friday pizza and movie nights or stories that were told around the firepit in their back yard

The Storyteller - Chatting with Audiobook Narrator Benjamin Fife - Evening in the Stormcave | Episode 20
Welcome to An Evening in the Stormcave! Tonight we have the privilege of chatting with Storyteller, Narrator and Voice Actor Benjamin Fife. Benjamin’s love of storytelling began in childhood, sparked by reading aloud and a lifelong fascination with voices, accents, and characters. After studying music at the Lionel Hampton School of Music, he built a rich creative life with his wife and their family, where nightly read-aloud traditions shaped his skills across numerous genres. He transitioned into professional audiobook narration in 2018 and went full-time in 2020, bringing versatility and dynamic character work to every performance. Benjamin is especially known for narrating Jane Austen's Dragons, blending classic literature with imaginative storytelling. He has narrated a number of books for Jenelle as well, including all four books in the Minstrel’s Song series as well as, most recently, all five books in the now fully released Turrim Archive series. At his core, Benjamin believes storytelling is a shared experience between author, narrator, and listener—one that brings stories vividly to life. You can learn more about Benjamin by visiting his website:https://www.bennyfifeaudio.com/To enjoy his collaborations with Jenelle, you can find his audiobook narrations for the Minstrel's song series here:https://www.audible.com/search?keywords=Minstrel%27s+SongOr his audiobook narrations for the Turrim Archive Series (book 5 coming out soon!) here:https://www.audible.com/series/Turrim-Archive-Series-Audiobooks/B0C597YQ68?ref_pageloadid=not_applicable&pf_rd_p=83218cca-c308-412f-bfcf-90198b687a2f&pf_rd_r=2SAKFPZB59AM8YNRP0F2&plink=M8wgxpfgexjneIVx&pageLoadId=sVTwb57QUr5pGxOG&creativeId=0d6f6720-f41c-457e-a42b-8c8dceb62f2c&ref=a_search_c3_lSeries_1_1_1You can also purchase either of these series in paperback or hardcover on Amazon - Minstrel's Song Series here:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C6DBH1?binding=kindle_edition&searchxofy=true&ref_=dbs_s_aps_series_rwt_tkin&qid=1774024432&sr=8-1and Turrim Archive (Final book releasing tomorrow March, 21st!) here:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C5KR2SJY?binding=kindle_edition&ref_=dbs_s_ks_series_rwt_tkin&qid=1774024462&sr=1-1
