<p>In Part 2 Franky and Dave continue their amazing chat with Deric Ruttan in the season 1 finale. Deric is a Grammy nominated Nashville based singer/songwriter and Canadian country music artist. The writer of multiple US Billboard Top 10 country singles – including 5 #1 songs. Originally from Braceridge, Ontario Deric moved to Nashville as a young man to pursue both his career as an artist and songwriter. Deric has had songs recorded by Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley and so many others. His chart toppers include Dierks’ Bentley’s no. 1 hit,&nbsp;<em>What Was I Thinking</em>&nbsp;as well as&nbsp;<em>Lot of Leaving Left to Do</em>, Eric Church’s&nbsp;<em>Guys like Me</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Hell on the Heart</em>, Blake Shelton’s number 1 song&nbsp;<em>Mine Would Be You</em>&nbsp;(which saw Deric receive a Grammy nomination and earn an ACM Award for Song of the Year) and Blake’s&nbsp;<em>Came Here to Forget</em>&nbsp;(earning Deric another #1). Deric kept rolling when in 2017 Jason Aldean released Deric’s song&nbsp;<em>Any Ol Barstool</em>, taking that to number 1 and in 2020 Deric received his 5th&nbsp;number 1 with Maddie and Tae’s&nbsp;<em>Die from a Broken Heart</em>.
