They are blocking new claims...Do you really qualify for the Employee Retention Tax Credit?
<p>The Internal Revenue Service has placed a moratorium on processing new amended tax filings for the Employee Retention Tax Credit received after September 16, 2023 until at least December 31, 2023, due to concerns over fraudulent or aggressive tax credit claims. <br/><br/>Anglin Tax Partner Christopher Cook and Tax Manager Jarot Scarbrough outline why this credit is so valuable, but also why taxpayers must be careful to back up their credit claim with proper calculations and documentation.
