Through Galatians 2:20 and 2 Corinthians 5:17, we explore what it means for the old life to be crucified and for a new life in Christ to begin. And from Ephesians 2:10, we're reminded that we have been created in Christ Jesus for good works — called not simply to believe, but to grow, serve and make ourselves available for everything God has for us.

Don’t Let Your Reluctance Become Your Refusal.
Hello and a very warm welcome to the Excel Church podcast. We’re so glad you’ve joined us, and wherever you’re listening from today, we pray that this message encourages you, challenges you and helps you draw closer to God.
In today’s message, Will Jenkins speaks on “Don’t Let Your Reluctance Become Your Refusal,” taking us into the story of Moses and the burning bush in Exodus 3–4.
Moses questioned his identity — “Who am I?” (Exodus 3:11). He feared how others would respond — “What if they do not believe me?” (Exodus 4:1). He focused on his limitations — “I am slow of speech and tongue” (Exodus 4:10). And eventually his reluctance became refusal: “Please send someone else” (Exodus 4:13).
Yet throughout it all, God continued to remind Moses of who He was, promising, “I will be with you” (Exodus 3:12) and declaring, “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:14).
Drawing also on John 1:12, 1 Peter 2:9, Galatians 2:20, 1 Corinthians 2:4–5 and Acts 7:22, Will encourages us to consider the fears, doubts and perceived limitations that can hold us back from what God is asking us to do.
Sometimes reluctance is understandable — but what happens when our reluctance becomes refusal?
God is speaking. Are we listening? And are we willing to take the next step of obedience?

The Full Measure
What does it mean to give the full measure of ourselves to others?
In this message, Pastor Dek Dudfield explores Jesus’ teaching in Luke 6:27–38 and challenges us to consider the measure of love, mercy, forgiveness and generosity we give to those around us.
Giving is about far more than money. It is about what flows from our hearts into the lives of others through our words, actions and the way we treat people, even when they have hurt us.
Drawing on the generosity of God, Dek reminds us that we have received so much through Jesus and are called to share that same grace with others. Are we giving the bare minimum, or are we allowing God’s love to overflow through our lives?
