Reaping Your Spiritual Fruit

Seeds and timing reveal powerful lessons about spiritual growth. A garden does not produce fruit overnight, and Christians do not mature by good intentions alone. God’s Word is good seed, but the soil of the heart must be prepared, planted, watered, and maintained. Ecclesiastes reminds us there is an appointed time for everything, while Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up the cross daily, and follow Him. If we want lasting spiritual fruit, we must pull weeds, reject shortcuts, and keep walking the narrow way. What are we actually planting in our hearts today?

Jehovah Jireh - God will Provide

Jehovah Jireh reminds us that the Lord will provide, even when faith is tested and the answer is not yet visible. Abraham walked up the mountain without knowing how God would provide the lamb, but he trusted God’s command and timing. This message shows that God provides in His way, at the right time, and with enough for today’s obedience. Our greatest provision is not comfort, money, or an easier road, but Christ, the Lamb of God. When life feels uncertain, we can trust that God sees what we cannot and knows exactly what we need.

Returning to the Old Paths

In this episode, I examine the question, “Why the Church of Christ?” by going back to Scripture and considering what God has always intended His people to be. Beginning with Jeremiah’s call to seek the old paths, I reflect on the importance of sound doctrine, personal study, and the responsibility each of us has to make sure what we believe and practice comes from God’s Word.

I also consider what the church truly is—not merely a building, a sign, or a denominational label, but the body of Christ, a spiritual family made up of Christians who are devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. From Acts, Matthew, Peter, and other passages, I explore the unity, identity, and purpose of the Lord’s church.

This lesson challenges us to think carefully about our faith, our obedience, and our commitment to Christ. If we love God, we keep His commandments. The invitation remains clear: follow the narrow way, put on Christ, and walk faithfully with His people.
