Jenna has learned about and now teaches a completely different approach to changing eating habits. She explains to us what intuitive eating is, how to learn from your body about what you should be eating, as well as what red flags to look out for if your eating habits need attention. </p> <p><br></p> <p>Jenna Talleda has been a Registered Dietitian for over 13 years and became a Certified Intuitive Eater since 2017. She specializes in helping women transform their relationship with food and their body so they no longer feel guilty and out of control with food. She has had her own issues with yo-yo dieting, body image, and emotional eating; however after finding Intuitive Eating. All of those have improved significantly. Tracy reveals how a life changing event has led her into this expertise, along with how it can help after you have already tried physical therapy, chiropractor, and everything else. I love this conversation as Tracy revels information that is not common knowledge regarding lifting weights, proper form and the importance of utilizing the "unknown" muscles. </p> <p>Tracy is a Corrective Exercise Specialist, giving women the tools to eliminate chronic pain when no other tools have helped. Tracy was hit by a semi-truck in 2014 and was disabled with a back injury. She trained herself fully through her recovery and is now 100% recovered. EPS 33 Olympic training with Priscilla Fredrick Loomis
<p>Priscilla Fredrick Loomis is a Olympic athlete, preparing for the games in Tokyo this coming spring. The games were delayed due to the global pandemic of 2020. Not only did Priscilla have to wait another year to attend, but she now has the added complication of training after contracting Covid-19 herself. At the time of recording, Priscilla was waiting for clearance from her doctor to resume training. She has since been cleared to resume training.</p> <p>Priscilla shares with us her experiences of attending the Olympic games in 2016 as well as training for the upcoming games. Get ready to hear training stories from Priscilla as well as what her favorite apps are for assisting with training and tracking. </p> <p>Priscilla Frederick-Loomis is a US born professional athlete representing the country of Antigua and Barbuda, specializing in the High Jump. She received a full athletic scholarship to St. Johns University in Queens NY. She became a Big East Champion, 7X NCAA Competitor, School Record Holder, 4x MVP, and placed 7th at the 2012 US Olympic Trials while there.</p> <p>In 2014, she gained dual citizenship for the country of Antigua and Barbuda, her fathers birth place. She competed at the 2014 Commonwealth games, became a 2x Silver medalist at the North American Central American Caribbean Games and Central American Games that summer. In 2015, she set a New National Record in the High Jump of 6'3.25, won the silver medal at the Pan American Games, competed at her first Track and Field World Championships and became the Female Athlete of the Year for Antigua and Barbuda. That following summer, 2016, Priscilla competed at her first Olympics which was also the first time Antigua and Barbuda had an Olympic female High Jumper.</p> <p>To date, Priscilla has opened up 2 businesses,"FLAWLESS", Home Cleaning and Organization & "LASH OUT LOUD", eyelash extensions; won the Silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games, Won her first gold International medal in Ireland (got married the next day!), is in training for the 2021 Olympics and was named SportsWoman of the Year for Antigua and Barbuda, for the 2nd time. Priscilla has also started her own Non Profit Organization, 'The Priscilla E.
