Social Media Detox

I took a month and a half long break off social media. It wasn’t something new for me, but in this episode I talk about how social media is designed, constantly selling us, putting us in comparison, and creating more separation. I talk about how it compared to detoxing from alcohol, how my world got quieter, and how my body feels scrolling vs not being on it all. Some pretty life shifts happened while I wasn’t on social media - the election, and purchasing a condo of my own. I talk about how different my experience was of those without seeing how the world reacted, and how not sharing my own life event was a different experience.
