Black, Biracial, Queer, Christian w/ Taylor Emmaus
It can be extremely challenging to hold multiple marginalized identities...we talk to students all the time who don't know how to navigate supremacy culture when they are told in subtle ways whether directly or through micro aggressions that they aren't valid. Luckily we have had the privilege of working with folks like Taylor Emmaus McGhee who has provided years of care for our students and has been able to hold space for students trying to live into their power and their identity. This week the Experimental Living Squad has a vulnerable and brave conversation with one of our most dedicated teachers and theologians!

This week we are joined by the amazing Kevin Garcia! Kevin is a mystical theologian, practitioner, writer, speaker, content creator, and internet human. They help people heal spiritual wounds and process experiences related to queerness and faith identity. Kevin is on the board of Affirming Youth Ministries and has been an inspiration and help to many of our student through their book- Bad Theology Kills- and their podcast called A Tiny Revolution.
