Explain It Me is a weekly comedy podcast hosted by two best friends Donna and Stephany, where each week one gets through the challenge of explaining the entire plot of a film with three rules: the plot has to be confusing, the host must be drunk to tell it, and the other host has never seen it.

Comedian Stephany and actress Donna dissect the 2024 garbage pile that is Road House, delivering a scathing critique of Hollywood's remake obsession and the movie's toxic themes.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans - Episode 62
Get ready for another bad movie with our favorite man, Nic Cage! Donna gets to tell Steph about this fever dream of a film and as we can predict Steph loses her mind. We got bad cops, guns, prostitution, lots of drugs, gambling, iguanas, and of course break dancing souls. It’s Nic Cage performing on a twenty for a film with no cohesion. Our favorite! Come along as we do our very best to make sense of this wild ride.

Eastern Promises - Episode 61
Are you ready for all the awful Russian accents we have for you in this episode? Yes? In that case get ready for Steph to talk about this gem, Eastern Promises! It’s all the plot points we love, mob families and abuse, grandpas having babies, drinking, stabbing, racism, and CHRISTMAS!!! Listen as Donna confuses this with A History of Violence and discusses the perks of getting a free baby. Stephany has issues with the lack of knowledge of motorcycles as usual, and both of us are very uncomfortable with the blatant homophobia in this film. So grab your vodka and knives and have a blast with this nonsense!
