   The Laddie, the Lawn Mower Killer, and a Pumpkin Prom Breakdown: Wacko (1982) Movie Review

   The hosts of Exploit Circus return to review and recap the 1982 horror spoof Wacko, joking about technical issues and bathroom breaks before walking through the film’s chaotic plot: the “lawnmower killer” returns 13 years after running over Pam, traumatizing her sister Mary, who now fears Halloween and prom night. They describe repeated gags involving Mary’s creepy father, Detective Harbinger’s filthy, coffee-fueled obsession, a loony escapee, nonstop horny teen jokes, bizarre dream sequences, and rapid-fire parodies of Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Exorcist, Grease, and Alien. The prom becomes a string of implied, mostly bloodless kills until the twist reveals Harbinger as the new killer while another man claims the original murders, ending with another lawnmower scare.
