[…] And the main lesson learned is that multinationals receive opportunity to review the agreements, put them in place, and align them with the transfer pricing policy. There are a number of transactions, for example, intangibles, financial transactions, services that have significantly changed compared to the previous regime. And this gives both opportunities and also some challenges that we recommend to address on time. Something very interesting in the new regulations is that tax authorities permit now the compensatory adjustments. So if you have a proactive approach to transfer pricing and you review how your transfer pricing policy was applied in Brazil during the fiscal year, before you close the books, you can correct that.
