<p><strong>Jonathan Panarello</strong> is an Adult Gerontology Primary Care certified Nurse Practitioner working in the department of Hematologic Malignancies at UCLA Santa Monica. He is originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and received his initial nursing diploma from John Abbott College in Montreal. Jonathan completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia Canada and a Master of Nursing Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He worked in the Coronary Care Unit at the McGill University Health Center in Montreal for six years before moving to Florida in 2017 where he started as a Nurse Practitioner at Moffitt Cancer Center in the Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular therapy department and in Hematology Oncology. Jonathan moved to Santa Monica and began at UCLA in November 2020. Jonathan is very passionate about his career and cares deeply for his patients. He completed his dermatology training at NYU, where he served as chief resident, and earned his MD from the University of Michigan. Neil&#39;s research focuses on using artificial intelligence to improve how skin cancers are diagnosed, staged, and treated. He has published over 50 papers in journals including JAMA Dermatology and Lancet Oncology, with a passion for making sure advances in technology translate into better care for real patients.</p><p>Outside the operating room, Neil is a physician-entrepreneur on a mission to keep patients moving when it matters most. He is the founder and CMO of <strong>KinetiTec</strong>, a health technology company building an intelligent acute and postacute care mobility platform designed to combat the epidemic of in-hospital immobility. KinetiTec&#39;s device helps patients stay active from their hospital beds, opening the black box of inpatient mobility and giving care teams real data to guide recovery.
