   Madrid's new street circuit — the Mad Ring — promised to fix Barcelona's overtaking problem and delivered the exact same race, just with fewer interesting corners and more warehouse backdrops. Kimi Antonelli wins his eighth race of the season without passing a single car on track. Lewis Hamilton concedes the championship publicly on Sky Sports. Max Verstappen is forced to hand back a position he earned through clean racing and calls the whole thing Mickey Mouse. Lando Norris sits on pole with the fastest car and finishes P3 after a McLaren strategy collapse. We dig into whether F1 is being designed for sponsors instead of fans, break down the Lawson-Hadjar-Limbad rookie comparison, celebrate Alpine's stunning rise from 10th to fighting for fifth, and preview Baku — the one track where Max, chaos, and championship drama all collide.

   F1 2026 Monza | Kimi Wins From 19th, Ferrari Implodes + George Russell Gives Up

   Kimi Antonelli passes 26 cars, wins his home race from 19th on the grid, and extends his championship lead to 66 points while the Tifosi chants his name in a sea of red. Ferrari takes itself out of contention in turn one as Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc race each other instead of the rest of the field. George Russell finishes second but publicly concedes the championship. Pierre Gasly puts Alpine on pole for the first time in team history, then gets his Monaco podium stripped by the FIA seven races later. And McLaren finishes fourth and fifth without anyone noticing. We debate whether Ferrari will ever pick a number one driver, whether George's time at Mercedes is running out, and what to expect from the first ever Madrid Grand Prix at the Madring.
