And that is because of its structure as a wage replacement program, the highest income earners who need financial support from younger working taxpayers, the least in old age, are getting the most generous benefits with an individual being able to collect benefits of $60,000 annually. And if you have a high earning dual income couple, you can double that. Those are excessively high benefits that the government is providing in many cases to people who have millions in assets in their retirement accounts. […]
