This week on Factor50 Football, we’re breaking down another dramatic weekend in the Premier League.
Manchester United suffer a 1–0 defeat to Manchester City, with plenty of debate around the key refereeing decisions. Was Haaland onside? Was the offside player really not interfering with play? And beyond the controversy, we ask the bigger question: can Manchester United genuinely improve from here, or is this simply their level now?
Arsenal, meanwhile, keep the momentum going with a 2–0 win over Sunderland. They had their own refereeing controversy to deal with after conceding a penalty, but David Raya came to the rescue with the save.
We also take a wider look at the standard of refereeing in the Premier League and ask whether the officiating is good enough.
